The Uxbridge Bruins only played five games in December, but forward Anthony Lamanna made the most of those outings, posting eight goals and four assists for 12 total points to lead the Orr Division in scoring for the month. For his efforts, the 20-year-old Pickering native was named Orr Division player of the month for December 2022 and was acknowledged prior to a recent home game at the Bear Den with an on-ice presentation from Bruins Vice President Terry Sovie.
As of this posting, Lamanna sits 12th overall in PJHL scoring with 28 goals and 27 assists (55 points) in 33 games played. In his first season with Uxbridge after spending parts of three season with the OJHL’s Stouffville Spirit, Lamanna has only been held off the scoresheet in five games.
