Bruins sweep Lumberjacks

The Bruins have advanced to the PJHL Orr Division semifinals after a thrilling 3-2 win vs Port Perry on Wednesday, March 16.
Quinn Meek completed his hat trick with 46 seconds left to lift Uxbridge to victory and a four-games-to-none sweep in the Battle Of North Durham. Noah Acciaccaferri turned aside 30 of the 32 shots he faced on the evening, as he earned back-to-back road wins during the series. Peter Kerr (3), Anthony Lamanna (2), and Ben Schmidt all earned assists to round out the scoresheet.

The Bruins will now face Little Britain in another rivalry that dates back to the 1970s. The best-of-seven semifinals are set to begin on Friday, March 24 at the Bear Den. The action shifts to Little Britain the following night, and the rest of the schedule will be announced in the coming days.
