Bruins take down Knights 3-1

After suffering a 3-1 setback on Friday night on home ice at the Bear Den against the Georgina Ice, the Bruins bounced back on Saturday night with a 3-1 win against the North Kawartha Knights in Apsley.

After falling behind 1-0 just past the midway point of the first period, Quinn Meek leveled the score at 1-1 after 20 minutes of action. A shorthanded tally from Peter Kerr with just 30 seconds remaining in the second period gave the Bruins their first lead of the evening. An empty-net goal by Stellucio Basile late in the third period sealed the win for Uxbridge. Kyle Groff turned aside 42 shots to pick up the win in goal. See below for highlights from the game.
